What makes ASA different?
Community
Located in Isanti, 45 minutes north of the Twin Cities, we offers a small town feel with nearby big city amenities.
We opened our doors in 2014 with a single K-6 program that served 160 students. We now serve almost 350 students in grades K-8 on two campuses (K-4 and 5-8). We offer small class sizes (K-4 max of 22, 5-8 max of 25).
Charter
As a charter school, we are better situated to provide flexible support and academics.
ASA is a public charter school that is tuition free. The main emphasis at ASA are students who have a particular interest in the arts and sciences.
All students at ASA participate in art, music, and theater as part of our program.
Career
Our staff are equipped with access to resources such as the Perpich Center for the Arts.
With only 50 employees, staff have a chance to feel supported and connected to their colleagues. Administration is on site and engaged in supporting our schools.
