Due to the recent legislation passed, a new requirement of schools is listed below:
Absence from school for religious observance
Requires a school board to provide annual notice to parents of the school district’s policy on absence
from school for religious observance.

ASA is a non-discriminatory public entity and considers religious observances to be excused absences as per MN statutes.
